Fence installation in Long Beach and nearby cities
Long Beach is home base. We also work in the cities right around it. If you're not sure we cover your street, send the form and ask.
Which parts of Long Beach do you cover?
All of it. Long Beach is a big city with very different blocks, and the right fence changes from one side of town to the other.
Close to the water
Belmont Shore, Naples, Alamitos Beach and the blocks near Ocean Boulevard get salt air and sea breeze every day. Lots are often narrow and close together. Vinyl, aluminum and coastal-grade hardware tend to last longest here. See the best fence for salt air.
Central and east side
California Heights, Los Altos, the Traffic Circle area and East Long Beach have a lot of single-family homes with backyard privacy fences and side gates. Many of these jobs are swapping out an old wood fence for a new wood or vinyl one, or rebuilding a gate that drags.
North Long Beach and Bixby Knolls
Farther from the coast, wood holds up better and chain link is common for side yards and alleys. Front yards here often get low iron or aluminum fences. Remember the city's front yard height limit, covered in our permit guide.

Are the fence rules the same in every city?
No. Long Beach, Lakewood, Signal Hill, Seal Beach and Bellflower each write their own zoning rules for fence height and placement. We check the rules for your city and address before we give you a final design.
